Could Your Fundraiser Show Be Free?

Every organization, school group, or cause needs to raise money in order to continue to accomplish the mission originally set out by that group. There are always a variety of options to explore when putting together a fundraiser event, but one of the overwhelming factors that determines whether or not you'll pursue a fundraising opportunity is often cost.

What if I told you that you could book a highly entertaining and interactive hypnosis show as a fundraiser, and pay absolutely nothing? That would sound too good to be true, wouldn't it?

Trust me, it isn't too good to be true, it just takes a little bit of work.

My fundraiser shows are typically risk free.

First and foremost, when talking about booking a fundraiser show with Hypnotist Judge Mentalist, it is important to realize that when I price out these shows for schools, non-profits, and other causes, that my pricing model is risk-free to the organization booking me. There are no upfront fees, no deposits, and truly no risk with respect to my fee. My pricing is usually based on two elements: ticket sales and sponsorships.

My fee is typically based on a percentage of the ticket sale money collected. Better yet, the percentage I am paid decreases as your group sells more tickets. It is entirely possibly pay me only 10% of the total ticket sales if your group can sell out a big enough room--amazing!

With respect to sponsorships- My team takes charge of selling the sponsorships for your event. We are a federally recognized 501(c)3 organization, and can take control of selling sponsorships, collecting the money, and paying your organization a percentage of those sponsorship proceeds. All your group needs to do is print a program, recognize the sponsors, and save some seats in your theater or auditorium for them to enjoy the show with everyone else!

But you said the show could be free, how is it free?

Yes, everything above still has your group paying for the entertainment, even though its not a lot of money compared to what you'll raise with a successful event, but yes, it could actually be free to hire me to perform for you.

The fundraising does not stop with the show itself. That's the big part, but beyond the stage, there are other opportunities for your group to make even more money for the event.

1) We record each and every hypnosis show performed, and we make that video available to the general public and to your attendees to purchase after the show. When these videos sell, we give your organization a percentage of those sales, which starts to offset the cost of the performance.

2) We sell merchandise after the show. A percentage of these proceeds are also given back to your group.

3) We have a specific 'hypnosis for a cause' band that attendees at your event can buy, 100% of the money from these sales is donated back to your group.

These are super popular, and almost everyone at your event is willing to chip in an extra $5 to have this memory, and to support your cause!

Does it work?

Yes, it works. Earlier this year I performed at a banquet event for the Elizabeth K. Andrews Charity Fund. An amazing organization that is dedicated to promoting awareness and education of Alzheimer's in this country. Their event was an amazing success, and due to an overwhelming amount of sales of the show video, their current total paid for entertainment is around $265! Plus, every time the video sells, they get even more money back. By the end of 2025, I will likely have paid this group to have performed for them. Amazing!
