Learn about Healing Breathwork at MIHC 2025

Today I spent a little time chatting with Hypnotherapist, podcaster, and so much more Amanda Dodd about her upcoming talk and experience on Healing Breathwork that she will be putting on at the 2025 Michigan Hypnosis Conference. This technique isn't actually hypnosis, but it works hand in hand with the healing and change work we expect from hypnosis, and is a great avenue to solve some problems that one might have difficulty fully resolving through more traditional methodologies.

In this experience, which will include a breathing exercise and immersive demonstration of the technique you will discover how Circular Breath, the theta brainwave state, and nervous system attunement can support somatic trauma release within hypnosis sessions. In this experiential talk, Amanda M. Dodd will also share simple pranayama techniques you can immediately apply in your practice and daily life to help clients shift into greater safety, regulation, and healing.
