Prior to diving head-first into the art of hypnosis, I was a seasoned and respected mentalist. What is mentalism you ask? Simple- Mentalism is a performance art that simulates or mimics abilities such as mind-reading, telepathy, prediction, and other mental or intuitive feats. It often involves the use of specialized tools and techniques, including electronic devices, apps, and psychological methods.

The key isn't "how" these mysterious tricks are done, but how entertaining the show can be. I have performed mentalism all over the world, for audiences of all sizes, ages, and professions. While my Hypnosis shows tend to be relatively PG rated (unless specifically asked for more adult content) my favorite audiences when performing mentalism were adult audiences, often filled with people who had been drinking quite a bit before my show began.

Years ago I absolutely fell in love with hypnosis and the performance of hypnosis. I rarely perform a purely mentalism show these days. However, I have been hired to be the headline performer at the 2025 Michigan International Hypnosis Conference, where I have been asked to perform a mentalism show for the group.

It's a tremendous conference that blends interests between clinical and stage hypnosis, and many areas in between. It's served as an incredible opportunity for growth and networking since it's beginning a handful of years ago.
